One dish cooking for easy weeknight meal!! Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1 (15 ounce) can beans in chili sauce |
1 (15 ounce) can dark red kidney beans, drained |
1 (14 ounce) can crushed tomatoes |
1 tablespoon chili powder or 1 tablespoon chili seasoning mix |
1 cup elbow macaroni |
3/4 cup water |
1 cup shredded cheese |
Directions:
1. Brown ground beef in a large skillet. 2. Then add the tomatoes, seasoning and water. 3. Bring to a boil 4. Add the macaroni - reduce heat, cover and simmer 20 minutes or until pasta is tender and liquid is absorbed - stir occassionaly. 5. add the grated cheese and cover - allow the cheese to melt. 6. Serve with sour cream, shredded lettuce and fritos. |
