Six Can Tortilla Soup

My mother in law gave me this recipe. It's a great use for left over chicken. I usually throw whatever vegetables that I need to get rid of in the soup as well. It's always very yummy!
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups of left over chicken or 1 10 oz can chunk chicken
1 15 oz can whole kernel corn, drained
2 14.5 oz can chicken broth
1 15 oz can black beans
1 10 oz can diced tomatoes with green chile peppers, drained
2 chopped garlic cloves
1 jalapeƱo
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon chili powder
red pepper and salt to taste
cheddar cheese
tortilla chips
Directions:
1. Throw everything into a pot
2. Bring to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes
3. Add cheese and tortilla chips to bowls of soup before serving
