Sister-In-Law's Chocolate Pie |

This recipe is my sister-in-laws, and actually it's her aunts. She shared it with me for a family cookbook we're working on. It's delicious. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups sugar |
2 tablespoons cocoa |
2 tablespoons flour |
2 tablespoons cornstarch |
1 dash salt |
4 egg yolks, beaten |
1 3/4 cups milk |
2 tablespoons butter |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 pie crust, baked |
Directions:
1. In sauce pan, combine sugar, sugar, cocoa, flour, cornstarch, and salt. Mix well. 2. Add milk and egg yolks, stirring until mixed. Cook mixture over medium heat until thick and bubbly. 3. Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla. Stir until butter is melted. Pour into prepared pie crust. 4. Refrigerate until cool. Top with Cook Whip or meringue. |
