Sister Barbara Ann’s Beer Muffins |

I used to make these when we gathered with friends to play cards. I'd forgotten about them. Ingredients:
4 cups bisquick |
12 ounces beer, chilled |
5 tablespoons sugar |
Directions:
1. In large bowl combine Bisquick and sugar; stir in beer until well combined. 2. Divide batter equally in well greased 12 count muffin tin. 3. Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes or until muffins are large and puffy and lightly brown on top. 4. Note: Only three ingredients. You cannot taste the beer, but the malt and sugar make muffins rise. |
