Sirloin Tips With Garlic Butter |

My husband says this is the best thing I've ever made him for dinner. As usual, I'm just guessing on prep time. Ingredients:
6 tablespoons butter |
4 garlic cloves, minced |
1/4 cup dry white wine |
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1 large onion, sliced |
8 ounces sliced fresh mushrooms |
1 1/2 lbs sirloin, cut in 1 inch pieces |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
2 tablespoons dry sherry |
Directions:
1. Combine first 5 ingredients & stir garlic butter well. 2. Melt 3 Tablespoons butter in skillet on med-high heat. 3. Add onion& cook 3 minutes till golden. 4. Add mushrooms & cook 4 minutes till tender. 5. Remove from skillet. 6. Sprinkle steak with salt & pepper. 7. Melt 3 Tablespoons butter over med. 8. high heat & add steak. 9. Cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly. 10. Return onion/mushroom mix to skillet & stir in sherry. 11. Cook till thoroughly heated & serve over rice. |
