Sirloin Bacon Cheeseburgers

Grilling season isn't over yet and these inside out sirloin bacon cheeseburgers would be a tasty treat during an autumn weekend. The cheese is taken underground for easier grill management.
Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground beef (sirloin)
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 cup aged cheddar cheese, shredded
1/4 cup bacon, diced (uncooked)
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup onion, minced
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon fresh rosemary
1 vidalia onion, sliced
2 cups mushrooms, sliced
1 tablespoon oil
Directions:
1. In a bowl, combvine beef, egg, garlic, cheese, bacon, breadcrumbs, onion, Worcestershire sauce and rosemary.
2. Divide meat into 6 portions. Form into 3/4 -inch thick patties.
3. Make a thumb-print depression in center of each patty (to prevent rounding while they grill).
4. Grill over medium heat on preheated, oiled grill for 5-7 minutes per side, testing doneness with a digital instant-read thermometer inserted sideways into center of eacy patty to ensure patties are cooked ot 160°F.
5. Make Ahead: The burgers can be made ahead and refrigerated for up to 1 day.
6. Top with melted mushrooms and onions.
7. TOPPING: Combine 1 sweet onion (such as vidalia), sliced (2cups) sliced mushrooms and 1 tablespoons olive oil.
8. Season with salt and pepper to taste; Cook, stirring occasionally in non-stick skillet over medium heat for 10-15 minutes or until vegetables are golden and tender.
9. Stir in 2 tablespoons steak sauce; heat through.
