Single Serving Broiled Figs

vegan version. Good with soy yogurt, or can be pureed and used as a spread/jam.
Ingredients:
5 figs, halved and stemmed
1/2 tablespoon light brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon sugar (optional)
Directions:
1. Place figs in a glass baking dish, cut side up.
2. Sprinkle with light brown sugar and cinnamon sugar if using.
3. Broil for 5 minutes.
