These are a family favorite...quick, easy and tasty. As always this is a base recipe. I mix this up by sometimes adding garlic, onion, and cheese. Feel free to experiment. Ingredients:
5 cups red potatoes, diced |
2 cups water |
2 tablespoons butter |
1 1/2 teaspoons salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1 -2 tablespoon fresh parsley (optional) |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan. 2. Cook uncovered, over medium-low heat until potatoes are done and have produced a gravy like sauce. |
