Simply Southern. Eggs and evaporated milk mixed with the macaroni and cheese, a little butter, and paprika for the dusting . Delish! Ingredients:
2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni, then cooked, drained |
1/2 stick melted butter |
12 ounces of cheddar cheese, grated |
2 eggs, slightly beaten |
1-1/2 cups evaporated milk |
black pepper to taste |

Directions:
1. Put *cooked* macaroni in a casserole 2. Add melted butter 3. In small bowl lightly blend 8 ounces grated cheese, eggs, and milk 4. Add to the macaroni 5. Mix lightly in casserole 6. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top 7. Then sprinkle with paprika 8. Bake uncovered for about 30 minutes |
