Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup(s) all-purpose flour |
2 teaspoon(s) baking powder |
1/2 cup(s) flavorless oil (canola,eg) |
3 large eggs |
1/4 teaspoon(s) salt |
1/2 cup(s) sour cream |
1 cup(s) sugar |
2 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 and generously butter a loaf pan. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt. 2. Whisk eggs, sugar, sour cream and vanilla together until well blended. Add dry ingr. and stir until smooth. Finally, pour in oil and fold gently into batter with whisk. 3. Put the batter in loaf pan and bake 5055 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool on rack 5 minutes, then unmold and cool to room temperature. Glaze with icing.
