Simple Vegetable And Chicken Stew |

A little twist on a plain chicken soup recipe I found here. It somehow turned pretty awesome! Ingredients:
water |
chicken |
any vegetables(i used carrots,capsicums,onions,spring onions,cabbage) |
celery |
green chillies(if you want it spicy) |
cornflour |
1/2 cup evaporated milk or (mix 3 tsps powdered milk in 1/2 cup water) |
1 bay leaf(optional) |
salt |
pepper |
chili powder |
Directions:
1. Chop/Dice all the veggies the celery and the green chillies and dump them in about 4+ cups of water. 2. Add Salt,Pepper and chili powder. 3. Start dicing the chicken. 4. Wait till the water boils. 5. Pop the chicken in a leave it on medium flame till its almost cooked. 6. Add 1/2 Cup of cold water to 2-3 tbps cornflour and mix well. 7. Add it to the stew. 8. Bring it to a boils and stir till the soup is thick. 9. Add the milk.Mix well. 10. Simmer for a few minutes until the chicken is cooked. 11. Voila! |
