A yummy recipe for vanilla ice cream (in an ice cream machine). This recipe uses maple syrup instead of sugar as a sweetener! This makes a rich and flavorful ice cream. And you can add anything you want to this wonderful base! Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups whole milk |
1 1/8 cups maple syrup |
3 cups heavy cream |
2 tablespoons pure vanilla extract |
Directions:
1. In a medium mixing bowl, use a whisk to combine the milk and maple syrup. 2. Stir in the heavy cream and vanilla. 3. Turn the machine on; pour the mixture into the freezer bowl, and let mix until thickened, about 20 to 25 minutes. 4. Add 1 cup of any type of mix-in (no larger than a chocolate chip in size) for added flavor! |
