This super easy side dish goes with just about anything and the kids can't get enough of it. Ingredients:
8-10 carrots, peeled & halved |
2 t. butter, melted |
2 t. brown sugar |
Directions:
1. Pre-heat oven to 350. 2. Place peeled & halved carrots in 8x8 glass baking dish or small casserole dish, Stacking with flat side up. 3. In small bowl melt butter. Mix in brown sugar and stir until sugar is melted, aprox 30 sec. 4. Pour butter mixture over carrots evenly, cover and cook at 350 for aprox 25 min or until carrots are tender but not overdone. 5. This recipe easily doubles or triples, just be sure to allow more baking time for the extra volume of carrots. Enjoy! |
