What to do with all those fresh strawberries? Try this simple and extremely delicious cake. To make it even easier, I slice the berries with my egg slicer! You can have this in the oven in just a few minutes, and it really looks like you worked hard on it! Ingredients:
1 pint fresh strawberries, sliced, fresh |
3/4 cup sugar |
1 (3 ounce) package raspberry gelatin |
1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows |
1 (18 1/4 ounce) box yellow cake mix |
2 eggs |
1 1/4 cups water |
2 tablespoons canola oil |
Directions:
1. Toss berries with sugar. Place in bottom of a 9x13 baking dish. 2. Sprinkle gelatin over berries. 3. Sprinkle marshmallows in pan. 4. Combine eggs, cake mix, water and oil. Beat with electric mixer 2 minutes. Pour evenly in pan. 5. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes. 6. Let cool, and invert pan onto serving platter. |
