Simple Split Pea Soup

Chicken stock gives this dish wonderful flavor!
Ingredients:
1 lb. of dried split peas
2 large peeled and diced carrots
1 stalk of diced celery
2 (14.5 oz.) cans of low-fat, low sodium chicken broth
3 c. of water
salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
1. First you want to rinse through the peas.
2. Then you can add them to a large pot over medium flame.
3. Add in the celery, carrots, broth and water.
4. Let this cook over low lame for around 1-2 hours.
5. Finally, season to your indivial liking!
6. Ladle into bowls!
