I love simple recipes and I love black beans and onions, so Voila- perfect recipe! Ingredients:
1 teaspoon butter (or substitute) |
1 (15 ounce) can black beans |
1 medium onion, chopped |
salt and pepper (to taste) |
Directions:
1. Melt the margarine in a skillet over medium heat. 2. Add the onion and sauté for 5 minutes. 3. The onion should stay crisp, not brown. 4. Add the beans and cook for 3 - 4 more minutes. 5. Season with salt and pepper. |
