From May 2008 Parents Magazine Ingredients:
8 ounces spinach fettuccine |
1 (16 ounce) package frozen italian vegetables |
8 ounces alfredo sauce |
8 ounces medium shrimp, tails peeled and cooked |
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated |
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice |
lemon wedge |
Directions:
1. Cook pasta according to the directions on the package. 2. Five minutes before it's done, stir the vegetables into the pot. 3. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup of the cooking liquid. 4. Return pasta and veggies to the pot. 5. Stir in Alfredo sauce, reserved cooking liquid, shrimp, cheese and lemon juice and cook until warm. 6. Garnish with lemon. |
