The perfect side dish to complete a mexican meal. Ingredients:
2tbs olive oil |
1 medium onion,chopped |
2 cans(15oz each) kidney beans |
11/2tsp ground cumin |
Directions:
1. In med size saucepan,heat olive oil over med. heat;saute onion for 3-5 mins or till tender. Add 11/2 cans of beans and the cumin. Pour the remaining 1/2 can of beans into a small bowl and mash with a spoon;add to the saucepan and mix well. Cook over med heat for 5-8 mins'or till thoroughly heated. 2. Note: Serve with white rice for your own easy version of rice and beans. |
