This is the only Pumpkin Pie that my mother and grandmother ever made. I love it and the kids love it. It is so simple and can be prepare in no time. Have given to several friends who had never baked a pie in their lives and they loved it. Ingredients:
1 (15 ounce) can libby 100% pumpkin puree (not the pumpkin pie mix) |
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk |
1 egg, beaten |
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice |
1 9-inch deep dish pie crust, thawed |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325. 2. Combine first four ingredients in a medium bowl, mixing well. 3. Pour into pie shell. 4. Place pie on cookie sheet and bake for 1 hour. 5. Cool. 6. Top with Cool Whip or real whipped cream. |
