Better than pumpkin pie. You can substitute your favorite spices (i.e. nutmeg and ginger) for the pumpkin pie spice. Serve with whipped or iced cream. Ingredients:
1 (21 ounce) can pumpkin puree |
3 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice |
4 eggs, slightly beaten |
1 (385 ml) can evaporated milk |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 1/2 cups sugar |
1/2 cup margarine, melted |
1 yellow cake mix |
Directions:
1. Mix first six ingredients together. 2. Pour into greased 9 x 12 pan. 3. Mix margarine with dry cake mix. 4. Crumble over pumpkin mixture. 5. Bake at 350F for 45 minutes. |
