A delectable sweet and savory dish! Perfect as a side dish. Made with pineapple, bread, sugar, condensed milk etc. I make this for every holiday as it is HIGHLY requested by friends and family. Even if you are not a huge pineapple fan, it will please your taste buds without a doubt. Ingredients:
1 (15.25 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained |
1 (5 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk |
1/2 cup white sugar |
12 slices white bread, cubed |
3 beaten egg |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a 9x13 inch glass baking dish with vegetable cooking spray. 2. Stir together, drained pineapple, milk, sugar, and eggs in a large bowl; mix well. Gently fold bread cubes in, until well moistened. Pour mixture into prepared dish. 3. Bake in preheated oven until lightly golden on top, 25 to 30 minutes. |
