JERK SEASONING IS A STAPLE OF CARIBBEAN COOKING,USED TO MAKE JERK CHICKEN, BUT TRY THIS SALSA ALONGSIDE A ROAST CHICKEN, PORK OR TURKEY Ingredients:
1 -14 ounce can pineapple chunks in juice |
1 cup mango chutney( or any fruit chutney if you dont like mango) |
1 to 2 teaspoons jerk seasoning ( see note) |
Directions:
1. DRAIN PINEAPPLE AND COMBINE PINEAPPLE WITH CHUTNEY. 2. ADD JERK SEASONING A LITTLE AT A TIME AND PULSE IN A FOOD PROCESSOR UNTIL THE DESIRED CONSISTENCY IS REACHED. 3. DO NOT PUREE !!!!
