A yummy southern pecan pie. My family loves this simple recipe. Very rich and nutty. Ingredients:
3 eggs, slightly beaten |
1 c. karo light or dark corn syrup |
1 c. sugar |
2 tbsp. butter or margarine, melted |
1 tsp. vanilla |
1 1/2 c. pecan halves |
1 unbaked (9 inch) pie shell (check my recipe collection for pie shell recipe) |
Directions:
1. In large bowl stir first 5 ingredients until well blended. 2. Stir in pecans. 3. Pour into pie shell. 4. Bake in 350 degree oven for 50 to 55 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean. 5. Cool. 6. Serves 8. |
