Original recipe calls for corn syrup, not honey. I never have corn syrup, so honey works great. Better flavor, too. These cookies have only a trace of fat. Original recipe also calls for 1/3 c raisins. I usually skip this, but you can use nuts, dried fruit, chocolate chips, etc. Ingredients:
1 c. flour |
1 c. quick cooking oats |
1/2 c. sugar |
1/2 t. baking powder |
1/2 t. baking soda |
1/2 t. salt |
1/2 t. ground cinnamon |
2 egg whites |
1/2 c. honey |
2 t. vanilla extract |
Directions:
1. Grease cookie sheet. 2. Mix all ingredients. 3. Bake at 375 for 8-10 mins. |
