Easy, tasty little treats. From a community cookbook from East Hampton. Ingredients:
14 ounces coconut flakes |
2 egg whites, stiffly beaten |
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1 tablespoon soft butter |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together and shape into 1 inch balls. 2. Place about 1 1/2 inch apart on a lined or buttered cookie sheet. 3. Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes, or until browned. 4. Watch the first batch, since ovens vary so much. |
