Ingredients:
1/2 pound(s) elbow macaroni |
3/4 cup(s) milk |
pepper to taste |
1/4 bar(s) velveeta |
Directions:
1. Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain. 2. Cube velveeta into 1" squares to help melting. 3. Layer macaroni, then cheese in crock pot or oven-safe casserole. Pour milk over all. Pepper to taste. 4. Cook, covered, at 350 about 1/2 hour ... 5. Or crock pot on high 1 hour ... 6. Or crock pot on low at least 3 hours. 7. Stir well before serving. 8. Optional: you can add anything from ground beef or bacon to hot sauce to spice up the recipe. Occasionally I substitute a small amount of cheddar for the velveeta ... but this simple version is an absolute hit at church and with the kids! |
