Kale and turkey ham are simmered in chicken broth to make a hearty yet easy soup. Ingredients:
8 cups chicken broth |
1 bunch kale, rinsed and sliced |
1 1/2 pounds potatoes, cut into chunks |
1 pound diced fully cooked turkey ham |
4 cloves garlic, chopped |
freshly ground black pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. Measure the chicken broth into a large pot. Bring to a boil over medium heat. When it comes to a boil, add the kale, potatoes, ham and garlic. Season with ground black pepper. Simmer covered over low heat for 1 1/2 hours. |
