My version is better! :) Especially when I make it with the avocados from my in-law's tree. Add salt to taste if desired, and less/more garlic as you like. I don't use much tomato as my husband has acid reflux. I've found 1.5 cups avocado is about 2-3 medium. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup avocado, cubbed |
1 cup cilantro, chopped |
2 tablespoons lime juice |
1/2 tomato, diced |
4 cloves garlic, minced |
Directions:
1. Cut avocados in half lenght-wise. Cube each half then scoop out into a small bowl. Leave one pit in the bowl to prevent browning. 2. Add remaining ingredients and mix until combined. It's okay if the avocado mushes. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or sliced bell peppers. |
