Here are four glazes for whole hams to choose from for your Easter dinner - ENJOY!! Ingredients:
1/4 cup maple syrup |
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour |
1 tablespoon dijon mustard |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger |
1/2 cup honey |
1/2 cup orange juice |
1 cup brown sugar |
1/2 cup apricot jam |
1/2 cup pineapple juice |
1 cup brown sugar |
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard |
1 -3 tablespoon horseradish |
1 cup red currant jelly |
Directions:
1. MAPLE-GINGER GLAZE:. 2. Combine maple syrup, flour, Dijon, lemon and ground ginger. Spoon glaze over ham during the last 15 -30 minutes of cooking. 3. HONEY-ORANGE GLAZE:. 4. Mix honey,and orange juice with brown sugar. Spoon glaze over ham during the last 15-30 minutes of cooking. 5. PINEAPPLE-APRICOT GLAZE:. 6. Combine apricot jam and pineapple juice with brown sugar. Spoon glaze over ham in the last 15-30 minutes of cooking. 7. RED CURRANT GLAZE:. 8. Stir dry mustard and horseradish into red currant jelly. Spoon jelly mixture over ham in the last 15-30 minutes of cooking . |
