Begin marinating this steak the evening before you plan to cook it. When you come home from work the next day, you can have a delicious steak ready in less than 15 minutes. Ingredients:
1/4 cup dijon mustard |
1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce |
2 tablespoons lime juice |
1 teaspoon grated peeled fresh ginger |
2 teaspoons sesame oil |
2 garlic cloves |
1 (1-pound) flank steak (3/4 inch thick), trimmed |
cooking spray |
Directions:
1. Combine first 6 ingredients in a large zip-top plastic bag; add steak. Seal bag; marinate in refrigerator 24 hours, turning bag occasionally. 2. Preheat broiler. 3. Remove steak from bag, discarding marinade. Place steak on a broiler pan coated with cooking spray. Broil 6 to 8 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness. Let steak stand 5 minutes. |
