This is not authentic, but is very good, and based on a recipe I had long ago for Kimchee, the sauce mix works great with Cucumbers, Radishes, or potatoes. Ingredients:
(5) cucumbers |
1 tsp garlic powder |
1 tsp onion powder |
1 tsp ginger powder |
2 tsp chili powder |
1 tsp red pepper |
1/2 tsp black pepper |
3 tsp soy sauce |
1/4 cup sea salt |
4 tsp worchester sauce |
1 tsp soy sauce (low sodium) |
Directions:
1. 1) Slice 5 Cucmbers into 1/4 in slices add to a bowl 2. 2) Add the salt to the cucumbers shake and let sit for 20 minutes 3. 3) Rinse cucmbers and drain completely 4. 4) Mix all powder ingredients together and then pour over top of Cucumbers. 5. 5) Add 3 tsp Worchester Sauce 6. 6) Add 1 tsp Low Sodium Soy Sauce 7. 7) cover and let sit overnight in frig. |
