This can be thrown together the night before serving. In fact, it's even better to serve it after letting the flavors mingle for a good while in the fridge before doing so. Shredded carrots can be added as well. Ingredients:
1/2 lb cabbage, shredded |
1/4 cup sugar |
1/4 cup cider vinegar |
1/4 cup mayonnaise |
1 teaspoon ground celery seed |
ground black pepper, to tase |
Directions:
1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and chill (overnight is best). |
