This is a simple chocolate cake, not too rich but sweet like a birthday cake. Ingredients:
1 cup s.r flour |
1 cup sugar |
2 tbsp cocoa |
1/2 cup milk |
3 tbsp butter, melted |
2 eggs, lightly beaten |
1/2 tsp vanilla |
Directions:
1. Grease a cake tin and preheat oven to moderate (180C)
2. Mix all ingredients in a large mixing bowl, add melted butter and beat vigorously for 3 minutes. Pour into the cake tin and bake until a skewer comes out clean.
3. Top with chocolate icing and whipped cream.
