This is perfect for a large crowd! Ingredients:
2 lbs ground beef |
1 c. of diced onions |
1/2 c. of diced green chili peppers |
1/4 c. of diced celery |
3 medium tomatoes |
1 (29 oz) can of tomato sauce |
1 (29 oz) can of kidney beans (with liquid) |
1 (29 oz) can of pinto beans (with liquid) |
3 tbsp. of chili powder |
1 1/2 tsp. of black pepper |
2-3 tsp. of cumin powder |
2 tsp. of salt |
2 c. of water |
Directions:
1. First you want to brown beef in a medium pan over medium flame. 2. Drain meat. 3. Then in a soup pot, add all the ingredients plus the beef and simmer on low flame for approx. 2-3 hours. 4. Make sure to stir often! 5. Serve! |
