This is a simple, healthy, and oh so delicious dish that tastes sinful, but is very good for you. Ingredients:
1 head cauliflower |
1 package 1/3 fat cream cheese |
1/2 cup water |
1 tsp onion powder |
1/2 tsp white pepper |
1 tsp garlic powder |
salt to taste |
Directions:
1. Steam cauliflower for 12-15 min or until tender. Drain well. Add cauliflower, cream cheese and seasonings to blender or food processor. Puree until very smooth. Adjust seasonings to taste. Serve in place of mashed potatoes(If using as a substitute for mashed potatoes, drain cauliflower *extremely* well.) or serve under seafood or poultry. Add more liquid(Chicken broth,cream, or milk) to make a soup. |
