There is a restaurant in town that serves the best carrots. Played around with ingredients until I came up with something close. This is so simple to make and just has a good flavor. I consistently get comments and requests for the recipe. Sometimes for variety, I add 2 Tbsp apple cider or juice. Ingredients:
3 lbs peeled carrots |
4 tablespoons butter |
2 teaspoons sugar |
1/4 teaspoon clove |
1/4 teaspoon white pepper |
Directions:
1. slice carrots. 2. place in pan with all other ingredients. 3. saute on medium heat 12 minutes. |
