A sweet butter sauce that goes very nicely with warm gingerbread. The serving information assumes 1 batch made for 1 loaf of gingerbread loaf. Ingredients:
1 cup sugar |
1/2 cup butter |
1/2 cup evaporated milk |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. Heat ingredients in medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil. 2. Serve warm over individual servings of gingerbread. |
