Ingredients:
2 cup(s) all-purpose flour |
1/3 cup(s) sugar |
1 teaspoon(s) baking powder |
1/4 teaspoon(s) baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt |
8 tablespoon(s) unsalted butter frozen |
1/2 cup(s) dried blueberries |
1/2 cup(s) sour cream |
1 large egg |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400F. 2. In a medium bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Place butter in pieces into a food processor and process until it is in smaller bits. Add dry ingredients and pulse until it resembles coarse crumbs. Add sour cream and egg and process until nearly mixed. Add blueberries and pulse until dough forms a ball. 3. Place dough on a lightly floured surface and pat into a 7- to 8-inch circle about 3/4-inch thick. Sprinkle with sugar. Use a sharp knife to cut into 8 triangles; place on a cookie sheet lined with parchment, about 1 inch apart. Bake until golden, about 15 to 17 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes and serve warm or at room temperature. |
