A tasy and easy way to serve barley Ingredients:
1 cup barley |
1 small onion, chopped |
3 tablespoons butter |
3 cups chicken broth |
1 cup salsa |
salt |
pepper |
Directions:
1. Pre heat oven to 350 F degrees. 2. Melt butter in a pan and saute onion and barley until toasted then put in a casserole dish. 3. Add everything else and cook 1 hour covered. 4. Uncover, and bake 20 more minutes or until liquid is gone. |
