2 1/2 cups chicken broth |
4 tablespoons chopped celery |
2 tablespoons chopped onions |
2 tablespoons butter |
1 cup uncooked rice |
2 cups chopped cooked chicken |
1 dash salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Combine broth, celery, onion, and butter into 2-quart saucepan (with tight-fitting lid). Bring to a boil and add rice. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, about 20 minutes. Add chicken, salt and pepper, and simmer about 10 minutes or until rice is fluffy and water is absorbed. |
