My rendition of a Spinach Quiche which is truly delicious!
Ingredients:
1-frozen pie shell
4-eggs lightly beaten
1 cup of milk (any kind)
1-package (10-16) ozs chopped frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed dry.
1 cup chopped onions (or) small onion
salt & pepper to taste
2/3 cup (or less) of shredded cheddar cheese
2/3 cup (or less) of smoked swiss cheese (or regular)
2/3 cup (or less) of provolone cheese
1 whole garlic (or) garlic poweder to taste
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Beat eggs until well blended
3. Add milk
4. Saute onions & garlic in saucepan for about 7 minutes
5. DO NOT BROWN
6. Add Spinach to saucepan with eggs & milk blend
7. Add cheeses to same pot mix together
8. DO NOT COOK IN PAN
9. Add this mixture to the pie shell
10. Bake in oven at 350 deg for 40-45 mins.
11. Remove from oven and allow to sit until slightly cooled
12. Eat either warm or refrierate and eat cold.
