This dish is a South Texas favorite and is delicious cold or hot. Goes well with chicken. Ingredients:
1 8oz package of cream cheese |
2 tbsp butter |
1/4 cup milk |
paprika (to taste) |
2 cans corn (drained) |
2 chopped jalapenos (remove veins and seeds) |
bread crumbs (plain) |
Directions:
1. Melt cream cheese, butter and milk ina baking dish (pyrex or corningwear) in oven 350 degrees
2. Add corn, chopped jalapeno and mix well
3. Cover the top with bread crumbs and sprinkle with paprika
4. Bake 350 degrees for 30 minutes
5. Remove from oven and let cool 10 minutes...serve warm or cold
