A modern twist to a classic drink for martini lovers and sidecar lovers alike. From 101 Martinis by Kim Haasarud. Ingredients:
1 1/2 ounces calvados |
1 ounce cointreau liqueur |
2 ounces lemon juice, separated |
1 tablespoon superfine sugar |
Directions:
1. Wet the rim of a martini glass by dipping it in a shallow plate filled with 1 ounce of lemon juice. 2. Dip the glass into the superfine sugar and set aside. 3. Combine the Calvados, Cointreau, and 1 ounce lemon juice in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. 4. Shake vigorously. 5. Strain into the martini glass. |
