This will be a little dryer than commercial Italian sausage but the flavor is good. This makes enough to top 2-3 pizzas Ingredients:
1 pound ground turkey |
1/2 teaspoon fennel seed, crushed |
1/2 teaspoon ground fennel |
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/2 teaspoon splenda |
Directions:
1. Combine the turkey with the remaining ingredients.
2. Brown in a skillet; drain the grease.
