Ingredients:
1/4 teaspoon(s) black pepper |
1/2 teaspoon(s) dried oregano |
2 eggs beaten |
1-3 clove(s) garlic, to taste |
2 pound(s) lean ground beef |
2 tablespoon(s) parsley flakes |
1/4 teaspoon(s) salt |
8 ounce(s) shredded mozzarella cheese |
1/2 cup(s) sliced mushrooms (optional) |
3/4 cup(s) soft bread crumbs |
1/2 cup(s) tomato or v-8 juice |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Combine first 8 ingredients. 3. Add beef and mushrooms and mix well. 4. On foil, pat meat mixture to 12"x10" rectangle. Top with 6 ounces of cheese. 5. Starting from a short side, roll up meat using foil to lift and a spatula. Seal edges and ends. Place, seam side down, in 13x9x2 baking pan. 6. Bake at 350 for 1 and 1/4 hours. (center will be pink). Use baster to suck out grease as it accumulates. 7. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top, return to oven until melted. |
