Ingredients:
10 slices bacon |
20 large fresh basil leaves |
20 large shrimp, peeled and de-veined, uncooked |
1/4 cup barbecue sauce |
1/2 cup finely crumbled goat cheese |
Directions:
1. Cut each bacon strip in half widthwise and set aside. Wrap a basil leaf arouond each shrimp and then wrap with a bacon slice, securing with a toothpick. Bake on a foil lined pan at 375* for 14-16 minutes or until the bacon is crisp. Brush with the barbecue sauce and sprinkle with the goat cheese and bake 2-4 minutes longer. |
