Shrimp and veggies in a light sauce. Good over rice or served alone. Ingredients:
1 lb shrimp, tails on |
1 cup onions, diced |
1/2 cup carrots, sliced |
1/2 cup celery, diced |
8 oz baby corn, canned |
3 cups bean sprouts, fresh |
8 oz water chestnuts, sliced, canned |
8 oz bamboo shoots, sliced, canned |
1/8 cup soy sauce |
3 tbsp olive oil |
1/8 cup cream |
1 tbsp garlic powder |
1 tbsp flour |
Directions:
1. In a large skillet heat olive oil. Add onions, celery, and carrots; saute 2-3 minutes. Add shrimp, soy sauce, and garlic powder; saute till shrimp are almost done; they will be white/opaque. 2. Add remaining ingredients. Stir well and let simmer for 15-20 minutes. Serves 8. |
