Easy seafood pasta with a thick alfredo sauce. Ingredients:
50 -60 frozen cooked shrimp, (1 shrimp ring) |
3/4 cup imitation crabmeat |
2 garlic cloves, crushed or finely chopped |
1 -2 tablespoon butter |
1 -2 tablespoon lemon juice |
10 -12 ounces spaghetti |
2 cups alfredo sauce, prepared |
Directions:
1. Cook pasta according to package directions. 2. While pasta is cooking, melt butter in a medium saucepan. Add garlic, lemon juice, crab meat, and shrimp (with tails removed). Saute on med-low heat. 3. Prepare alfredo sauce according to package directions (we use a powdered mix that needs to be boiled, then simmered in order for it to thicken, but you can use a jar of prepared sauce and just heat it through). 4. When shrimp mixture is done (heated through, and garlic is soft), add sauce to shrimp and simmer for 5 minutes. 5. Drain pasta, add sauce, and mix to coat pasta. Serve immediately. |
