Lemon, wine and garlic are classic complements for shrimp. This dish is a snap to prepare and is always a hit. Ingredients:
2 tablespoons unsalted butter |
2 tablespoons olive oil |
1 pound shrimp |
2 teaspoons chopped garlic |
1/2 cup dry white wine |
1/4 cup fresh parsley |
1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice |
1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes |
Directions:
1. Heat butter and oil in a heavy skillet over high heat until foam subsides. Add shrimp and sauté, stirring frequently, until shrimp are pink and slightly golden, about 4 minutes. Add garlic and sauté until aroma is released, about 1 minute. 2. Add wine, parsley, lemon juice, salt, pepper and red pepper flakes to taste. Bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer to heat through. Serve immediately. 3. Is perfect on a serving of Dreamfieldâ??s Low Carb pasta if you prefer. |
