I serve this delicious garlicky buttery shrimp every chance I get. Make sure you have plenty of fresh bread to soak up the juice. Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter |
1/4 cup olive oil |
4-6 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley(or 1 tablespoon dried) |
1 tablespoon garlic powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
dash cayenne peppper |
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice |
1 pound medium or large shrimp-peeled,deveined,tails left on |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees 2. In a large skillet that can be put in oven,melt butter with the oil. 3. Add the next 5 ingredients and mix well. 4. Add shrimp,toss to coat,and arrange in single layer. 5. Bake 8-10 minutes until shrimp is pink and tender. 6. Sprinkle additional parsley on top if desired. 7. Serve in bowls with french bread or over pasta or however you like. 8. Recipe can be doubled or even tripled,depending on how many people you are serving. |
